Happy New Year !!!
This is the first blog of 2016 and it feels like a blank page starting a new year, I aim to start at the beginning and where better than with cake. You might produce a fabulously decorated cake to your family and friends but remember it will inevitably be eaten at some stage and you want them to remember the taste of the cake as well as how nicely you decorated it with fondant. I am waiting for my mom to give me the recipe also for a fabulous cake she used to bake for each of my siblings and me for our birthday each year. It is worth the wait so be patient, it's been a few years since she baked it and trying to remember where the recipe is, is driving her mad. But she will find it.....eventually.
